We had a really good stay at High Street Hostel. the staff were helpful and accommodating, especially the manager Andy. the location of the hostel was excellent, right on the Royal Mile, making it easy for us to explore the city. the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the shared facilities were well-maintained. We also enjoyed the affordable and delicious breakfast. it was a great place to stay in the heart of the city. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

The staff were laid back and helpful, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, including the toilet and shower areas. the large kitchen and lounge area were convenient for socializing and cooking meals. I would definitely recommend this hostel for a great stay in the heart of the city.

Friendly female receptionist, lockers with mini safe, animal kingdom assigning system, compact beds, convenient location near train station, traditional building. Nice staff, cheap towel rental, good kitchen and rooms, chargers near every bed, youth atmosphere, central location with bus stop to airport. Great location, quiet at night, decent room, storage facilities, beds with light and outlet, spacious and clean rooms. Big shared kitchen, common room with computer and books, bag storage, printing available, spacious rooms with sockets and lights, separate shower and toilet. Breakfast available with cereals, milk, toast, jam, butter, fruits.

I recently stayed at High Street in Edinburgh for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel had spacious rooms and bathrooms, as well as helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I especially loved the unique shower design and the fish tank in the lobby. it was a wonderful stay and I will definitely be returning in the future.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Just off the Royal Mile, there were plenty of historic sites, great pubs, and restaurants nearby. the staff was super helpful and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean. the hostel had a spacious kitchen with all the amenities for cooking.
The noise from the street can sometimes be a bit bothersome, but it's generally not too noisy at night.

The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that our room was cleaned daily and the windows were opened for fresh air. The location was excellent, with many of Edinburgh's top attractions within walking distance. We also appreciated the convenience of having power outlets and USB ports next to each bed.

Conveniently located near train station and tourist attractions. Informative and friendly staff. Spacious rooms compared to other hostels. Some beds have curtains for privacy. Building has a historic feel.

Amazing value for money, with awesome decorations and character throughout. The room was comfortable, with solid beds and individual powerpoints. The location in the heart of the Royal Mile was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast menu could be improved by offering eggs as an option.

Friendly staff, great location in old town with easy access to university town. Connected with other hostels for socializing. Large common area with free drinks, good wifi, and some rooms have bedside lamps. Perfect for exploring the city on foot.

Located in the heart of the city, this budget, friendly hostel offers an excellent base for exploring all the major attractions within walking distance. the comfortable rooms provide two pillows on each single bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. the clean bathrooms come with towels, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making check, in and check, out a breeze. Plus, they allow early luggage drop, off. Don't forget to enjoy the cozy lounge area, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done.
Limited bathroom facilities for the number of guests.

We had a wonderful stay at a hostel in a perfect location, just steps away from the charming High Street. The beds were comfortable, and we loved having lockable boxes for our belongings. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostel was open 24 hours, giving us the freedom to explore the city at our own pace. The hostel also had a small fee for breakfast, a convenient option. Despite some minor noise from the hallway, we would definitely recommend this hostel for a relaxing holiday in Edinburgh. we were very satisfied with our experience.
